REVIEW REVIEW YAY
If you are like me and don’t have easy access to brands like Fudge you often feel left in the dark with haircare. While Not Your Mother’s doesn’t having some products like toning shamoo they do have some quality products. Here are a few I have tested and such. Check them out X
Beach Babe Texture Cream:
texture: vv thick and a little sticky. less is more with this. when to use it: when your hair is a bit damp before you dry or just scrunch in for definition or texture Hair type best for: wavy or curly. my hair is straight and this didn’t add curl. if you have fine hair this might be too thick so use a tiny bit on your ends. Worth buying: for textured hair yes, it looks good on my sister’s curly hair.
Beach Babe Sea Salt Spray:
Texture: yes When to use it: yes Hair type best for: yes, watch your roots if you get oily roots easy but yes Is it worth buying: yes YES. this sea salt spray is vvvvvvvvvvv good and smells like love please.
Clean Freak Refreshing Shampoo:
Texture: it feels like it spray’s thicker than Batiste’s but it did not leave white residue. The smell is a bit strong so prepare for that. When to use it: second day hair, trying to make second day hair, when roots get oily, add texture to up-do Hair type best for: dry shamp is pretty universal. My hair is a bit fine and this felt like it weighed it down some Worth Buying: Batiste is my No1 still, this was okay but it felt heavy on my thinner hair and has a strong smell I don’t care for. Thicker hair might be okay with this though
She’s A Tease Volumizing Hairspray:
Texture: Very light and “powdery” mist with a good smell When to use it: setting or adding texture Hair type best for: all types but it really fluffed my thinner hair up and has a nice weightless feel that reminds me of Bumble and Bumble’s Dry-spun hairspray. Worth buying: Yes I really like it, it’s not a super strong hold but it adds a good airy look you can layer with.
